About the Role:

In this role, you will work full-time M-F in an energized and fast-paced environment focused on delivering an excellent customer experience to our HQ employees and visitors to our cafe and on-site events. Your goal is to produce and prepare high quality food, provide customers with fast, friendly service, and maintain a clean environment for our employees and visitors.

  What You’ll Do:

• Maintain the overall cafe operations and continually seeks opportunities to improve the customer experience
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, processing customer transactions, recognizing and responding appropriately to customer requests and needs in an efficient and timely manner
• Ensure the cafe, storage and catering areas are clean, organized, fully stocked, and ready for service
• Respond to catering requests, assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled location, and complete post event responsibilities
• Arranges tables with food, beverage, service items and decor according to standards
• Work with management team to order supplies and manage inventory
• Ensure compliance to recipes and prepare food prior to cafe breakfast, lunch and catered events
• Listen and ask questions to solicit feedback to understand customer needs and provide appropriate service

Who You Are:

• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, written communication and time management skills, ability to develop and maintain good relationships and to demonstrate a sense of urgency
• Ability to be flexible, multitask and provide support where needed
• Strong innovator and creative thinker
• Must be able to push and lift 50 lbs.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
