Job Description

We are looking for an organized, energetic individual to serve as a full-time Concierge. The successful candidate:

• Responds to family needs
• Answers and attends to phone and door as needed
• Displays excellent telephone skills and etiquette using good judgment and compassion
• Interacts effectively and positively at different levels and with different audiences
• Organizes and completes administrative tasks to prepare for funeral services
• Inspires others to a high level of customer focus
• Sets up and takes down service areas as directed
• Assists family as they arrive for services
• Ensures that everything is right for every service

The successful candidate must:

• Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
• Have at least three years of hospitality and/or administrative experience with increasing responsibility
• Possess an understanding of the funeral profession
• Have strong skills in Microsoft Word
• Have a professional self-presentation
• Be adaptive, flexible and an outstanding team player
• Have the tact and ability to perform in dynamic conditions
• Be organized, timely and detail oriented
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Be able to frequently lift and move twenty pounds and sometimes more
• Be able to operate video and audio equipment

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday and some Saturdays, 8:00am-5:00pm.
