Job Description

Provenir Healthcare is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an immediate start in lively and charming Durant, Oklahoma.

The CRNA will be responsible for administering anesthesia during surgical, therapeutic, diagnostic and obstetric procedures. As well as, performing epidural, spinal, or nerve blocks and providing care before, during and after anesthesia.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; with some call, as required.

Essential Job Function:

• Directly works with Obstetrics (OB); Epidurals, Spinals/Regionals, Orthopedic and Pediatric cases.
• Works with paper charting.
• Supervises patient care in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and is directly involved with any post-anesthesia treatment the patient may require during their recovery phase.
• Working closely with health care professions and being responsible for the all required documentation, required by surgical center.
• Initiate emergency medical treatment in any area of the surgical center.

Required:

• At least one (1) year of recent experience in an acute care setting with one (1) year of experience in a CRNA role at an ambulatory surgical location.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited university.
• Registered Nurse License in the State of Oklahoma, current and in good standing.
• Must have current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration and Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (OBNDD) license.
• Current BLS Certification and proof of shot records.

Preferred:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Certified through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
