Job Title: Dialysis Technician
Location: Cooperstown, NY 13326
Duration: 9 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $28–$30/hour
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dialysis Technician to provide high-quality patient care and technical support during hemodialysis treatments. The ideal candidate will ensure all dialysis equipment is prepared, operated, and maintained according to established protocols and infection control standards, while supporting the clinical team in delivering safe and effective care.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor dialysis machines and related equipment.
Perform pre- and post-treatment patient assessments and record vital signs.
Assist in initiating, monitoring, and discontinuing dialysis treatments.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
Collaborate with nurses, nephrologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Completion of an accredited Dialysis Technician training program.
Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) through BONENT, NNCC, or NANT.
Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
Minimum of 1 year of dialysis experience in an acute or chronic care setting preferred.
Strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
