TAS - English Proofreader for Transaction Advisory Services - BEI0008Z CN-Beijing-Beijing Background The Transaction Support (TS) division prepares due diligence reports for their clients on merger and acquisition projects throughout China. Key issues and findings on each project will be summarized in a report issued to the senior executives of our multinational clients. To ensure that the content of our reports is written at the level of a native English speaker, we are looking for an experienced English proofreader to join our high caliber team. Job Responsibilities Edit reports and other client deliverables for style, consistency and proper grammar Ensure all documents edited read as though written by a native English speaker and are succinct and clear Revise written content of reports for consistency with Ernst & Young writing standards Communicate with TS professional staff to understand the editing requirements for each project Identify common errors and mistakes and provide feedback to TS professional staff to improve English writing Understand the urgency of client deadlines and respond quickly to report proofreading requests Work flexible hours, including overtime as needed, to meet critical deadlines Requirements Bachelor's degree holder with an excellent command of English grammar and spelling Previous experience in proofreading/editing documents written by non-native English writers Significant exposure to economics, finance and taxation terminology is helpful Detail oriented with the ability to maintain exacting standards at all times Experience in teaching written business English to non-native English speakers is an asset Responsive to requests Ability to handle pressures of fast-paced environment and client oriented culture Able to work independently and within a team environment Please use the following link search job number "BEI0008Z", and apply online, thanks. or send your resume to .
