Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide face-to-face lessons to three children (two classes, back-to-back).

• Students:  Class 1 193433: One child (female, 11 years old) / Class 2 193434: Two children (siblings, 5 and 4 years old)
• Location: Lexington, South Carolina 29072 – near Lexington County Fire Station 3, Huntsdale Ct 
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson format: Face-to-face, in-person
• Availability: Tuesday to Friday at 4:00 PM
• Lesson Frequency: 2 to 3 times per week
• Lesson Duration: 60 minutes for the 11-year-old student, and 30 minutes for the two children together
• Current English level: Beginner
• Native/other languages: German
• Students’ language needs and goals : Adapt to a new school environment, make friends, build basic English vocabulary

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, age-appropriate English lessons for children at the beginner level
• Support school integration and social communication skills
• Teach vocabulary, reading, writing, and listening aligned with each child’s age
• Use engaging activities connected to students’ interests
• Encourage confidence, participation, and natural conversation
• Manage back-to-back sessions effectively with clear lesson planning

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in English
• Teaching certificate or degree in education, linguistics, or related field
• Experience teaching children (required)
• Ability to manage both individual and small-group lessons
• Patient, engaging, and supportive teaching style
