**Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description:** We're actively hiring a skilled **Heavy Equipment Operator** to support commercial and industrial construction projects in **State College, PA** . In this role, you'll operate excavators, dozers, and skid steers to perform trenching, grading, and site preparation. _*This is a contract-to-hire position with a contract duration of 6-months and then to go permanent/direct with the company we set you up with*_ **Must Haves:** + Must be available for snow removal throughout the winter even during layoffs + Must be able to work Mon-Fri 7am-5pm with the possibility of working until 7pm and also on weekends if and as needed. + Must have a strong background of main line digging for utilities. + Must have experience with using and digging inside of trench boxes and shoring. + Must have experience with digging at depths of 10ft and greater. + Must be able to excavate and hold the given grade while digging. _We are actively screening candidates who meet the hiring criteria to start for this position ASAP.
