In business for over 50 years a global leader in fire protection and suppression is hiring several experienced Fire Alarm Technicians to cover the Philadelphia PA and surrounding area and New Jersey.
WHY YOU WANT TO WORK HERE :
Working out of a company vehicle you are able to take home Fire Alarm Techs will inspect troubleshoot service and repair a variety of fire alarm systems (i.e. Notifier Fire Lite Silent Knight Kiddie etc.) emergency lighting systems perform hydrostatic testing of low-pressure cylinders fire extinguisher repairs and filling (i.e. Oval Amerex); completing documentation of work performed using a tablet; other related duties as required.
SHIFT : Days 8:00am 4:00pm (Monday Friday). OT after 40 hours. Minimal on-call

FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
NICET Certification
3-5 years service inspection and installation experience with fire alarm systems emergency lighting and/or fire extinguishers
Solid electrical troubleshooting skills
Any trade related certifications/licenses considered a strong asset but not required
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment background checks (MVR and Drug Testing)
