The RN NICU Nights position involves providing comprehensive care to infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), including basic needs, medical treatments, and support to families. Responsibilities include patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, blood draws, collaboration with the healthcare team, and adherence to hospital directives.

Responsibilities:
- Caring for infants' basic needs, such as diaper changes and feeding.
- Coordinating infants' medical treatments with the NICU physician.
- Offering comfort and support to premature and ill newborns and their parents and family members.
- Attending births, measuring and weighing infants, caring for and monitoring the health of infants directly after birth, and educating new parents about breastfeeding and the care of their child.
- Performing comprehensive patient care, including assessments and vital sign monitoring.
- Drawing blood and performing other specialized procedures.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians, and neonatal nurse practitioners.
- Organizing, assigning, and supervising duties and responsibilities of other staff members as a team leader.
- Sharing expertise and knowledge with coworkers and peers.
- Utilizing the nursing process to develop a care plan and deliver patient care.
- Following hospital/unit directives.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- EMR: EPIC experience

- Required to work every other weekend (EOW) and holidays.
Scheduling:
- 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
