Responsibilities
- Fabricate ductwork and fittings according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilize various tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal sheets.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal fabrication is a plus.
- Proven experience as a duct fabricator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and ductwork design.
- Proficient in using hand tools and machinery relevant to duct fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
You should be proficient in:
- Troubleshooting Skills
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
