PURPOSE OF THE CLASSIFICATION: To work as support personnel in Muskogee Esports Arena for the City of Muskogee, Parks and Recreation Department. This is a part-time position. Applicants must be available for day, night, weekend, some holiday shifts, and irregular hours. ESSENTIAL TASKS: Greet visitors. Communicate with the public in a polite, friendly manner. Operate telephone to answer, screen and forward calls and provide information as necessary. Conduct tours of the facility. Have a working knowledge, and assist with facility programs and rentals. Operate Point of Sales (POS) operating system. Prepare daily deposits for supervisor review. Assist with maintaining a clean facility. Complete opening and closing tasks including cleaning restrooms, and picking up trash. Assist with facility rental set-up/clean up. Maintains and cares for gaming pcs, furniture, and arcade cabinets. Assists guests with admission charges and facility related questions. Performs other work as necessary or as assigned. Must report to work on a regular and timely basis. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Esports Arena Support Personnel reports directly to the Esports Arena Coordinator and the Esports Arena Assistant Coordinator. Esports Arena Support Personnel do not have any direct reports or supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Training and Experience: Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Have prior experience operating a POS System and cash handling skills. Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work in this classification is indoor. Will travel to other city locations as required. Requires ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and irregular hours.
